Administrative Professional Of The Year.

APW

Administrative Professionals Week (and Day), formerly known as Professional Secretaries Week, was created by The International Association of Administrative Professionals, formally called the National Secretaries Association, as an annual event to recognize the valuable contributions of office support staff in business and government. IAAP started the commemoration in 1952.

CMAL

Chapter Member At Large

Chapter individual who is active (recertify every five years and attending some of the meetings after participating as director and volunteer for all chapter events during that term), and doesn't pay chapter dues due to non-long-term duties outside the chapter.  The CMAL would stay within the chapter and not move up to state/division level.

CMOTY

Chapter Member of the Year

Using the Division Member of the Year Award criteria as a basis, the chapter member with the highest number of criteria points is selected as CMOTY and recognized for their contributions to the chapter.  They are presented with an award and their application is forwarded to the Division for nomination as Division Member of the Year (DMOTY).

DMOTY

Division Member of the Year

Winners of Chapter Member of the Year (CMOTY) are submitted to the Division for review.  At the Division EFAM the four nominations with the highest number of criteria points are announced as finalists for the award.  The finalist whose application listed the highest number of criteria points is named DMOTY.
